First Start

Creating a new group 

There are three tabs available in the New Group window: 

• Ranges - configuring IP address ranges
• Custom password - setting passwords for devices
• Custom timeout - setting up connection timeouts.

Setting up  IP-address ranges

1. Input Group name 
2. Add Group Description 
   
3. In the Network Ranges section, click "+ Add IP range" and specify the range of IP addresses.
   
4. (If necessary) Add ports using "+ Add Port Range"
   
5. Click "Save" to save and scan the devices on the network.
   

Connect the network drive with the firmware of ASIC miners

Using the example of Windows OS

1. Open "My Computer"
   
2. On the "My Computer" icon, right-click, find and left-click "Connect network drive"
   
3. In the window that opens, enter the network path in the "Folder" field. https://download.octava.cool:8443 and click "Done"
   

A connected network drive will save you from downloading new versions of current firmware from the website! The firmware is updated automatically on the network drive!

Installing the firmware

1. Open the created Network Group, after scanning, check the box against the asic miner.
   
2. Click on "All Commands" at the bottom right
   
3. Select the firmware folder ( firmwares) located on a previously connected network drive
   
4. Write the firmware installation parameters in the first field: octavacool and the second field: 1.2.6
   
5. (If necessary) Specify the Miner's Model
